Layla found a baby swallow in our attic. She figured it was trapped
there, unable to fly out, but we eventually decided that the mother was
nesting them there.
He was certainly a placid little critter! He was happy to be picked up,
put down, poked and prodded, and given many various foods and liquids
(none of which he accepted).
We ended up putting him back in the attic.
