I travelled to Albuquerque, New Mexico on this February
10-13th, 2003. The purpose of the trip was to interact
with the materials and computer scientists at Los Alamos
National Lab (on the 11th) and Sandia National Lab (on
the 12th).
I was most impressed with the otherworldly terrain around
Los Alamos--Bandelier National Monument, in pictures 80-128,
is particularly amazing.
