Layla bought a 1984 Chevy Suburban on March 16, 2004. The outside is pretty rusted, and the paint is flaking all over; but the 350 cubic inch V8 puts out an absurd amount of power.
We drove the Suburban back to Alaska in June 2004, which it pulled perfectly fine. The biggest problem was the brakes!
It got pretty scary on the highways, so it's now our main plow vehicle. It wears tire chains all year round.
