Layla and I found this ancient (1950's or earlier) heavy equiptment dolly in our creek. It's a heavy (oak?) wooden frame supporting a big 6" diameter castor. Looks to me like the thing broke in half, so they kicked it overboard, where it sat until weathering out of the creek.
It's amazingly well preserved for being buried for over half a century!
