This is a little applet which reads in and displays a SAR image using ASF/STEP's odd image format, LAS. Since I work for the ASF/STEP lab, I slapped this together, mostly as a "proof of concept", over Christmas break, 1997.
It also (unintentionally) demonstrates one of the many annoying things an applet can do-- open a window that can't be closed. You'll have to quit your browser to get this darn SAR image to go away.
It really should have many more features, like allowing you to zoom in, change the contrast, extract exact geographic locations, save in other formats, etc.
