Dad and I rented a FORCE-2 blower, and bought 130 (!) 25-lb bags of blown
cellulose insulation. It's weird grey stuff made from shredded newspaper, and
looks like dust bunnies. The blower really squirts the insulation out as a
high velocity grey stream, raising huge clouds of dust. I gave up on dust
masks and wore my gas mask!
That's the second trailer load of insulation--it's not that heavy, but it's
bulky. We got it all installed in one long day.
